Chilliwack Interchange 2008

The Chilliwack Model Railway Club will be hosting the NMRA PNR annual convention in June 2008 in Chilliwack BC. Make your plans now to join us for what promises to be an exciting event. We will have all the usual events and activities surrounding such a convention; clinics, contests, tours. We will also be combining this event with the annual Pacific Northwest RPM meet, so a great showing of fabulous modelling is expected.

Why would Free-mo people want to come? We have 60,000 square feet of cement-floored show space available. We plan to fill at least half of that with a single Free-mo HO layout, creating what we hope will be the largest Free-mo layout set up in North America to date. Of course all the Chilliwack modules will be there, plus we already have commitment from most of the Calgary group to bring their modules. We hope to attract modules from all over Canada and the USA. Modules will need to be fully-compliant with the Free-mo standards, and have at least a first covering of scenic material. Any of you thinking about constructing a module should certainly get cracking!
