1.0 Introduction

MM-S1.1 Free-mo Modules fall into three basic categories, see S1.5. This document is a supplement to the “The Official Free-mo Standard“. Listed here are the variations and exceptions to “The Official Free-mo Standard” for Mini-mo Modules. Mini-mo modules must meet all of the “The Official Free-mo Standard” with the variations and exceptions listed below. This document works in parallel with “The Official Free-mo Standard” and is incomplete without it.

MM-S1.2 There are special needs for modules that are smaller than Standard modules. This usually occurs connecting modules together in a tight location, like a garage. The Mini-mo Standards were created to address this need.

MM-S1.3 The Mini-mo Standards are a subset and not as widely used as “The Official Free-mo Standard“. Most Free-mo setups are Mainline setups. Mini-mo modules are not intended for use in public events.

MM-S1.4 A Mini-mo module can be either a Standard or Branchline Mini-mo.

2.0 Frame and Legs

MM-S2.1 Mini-mo endplates are recommended to be 12 inches wide; however, they can be as small as 8 inches provided there is a minimum 4-inch spacing from the track centerline to the edge of the module.

MM2.2 Mini-mos must have legs for adjustment but do not need to stand on their own. (A Mini-mo might have one leg at each end).
